Join us to learn more about the fascinating history of Guild Park & Gardens -- and its connection to the exhibition 'Unsettling' at the Doris McCarthy Gallery, University of Toronto Scarborough!
The program begins at 2 pm at Guild Park & Gardens (201 Guildwood Parkway), where curator Bojana Videkanic and John Mason (Friends of Guild Park & Gardens) will lead a guided walk, focusing on the site’s art and architectural features, and its role in the development 'Unsettling'. Following the walk, visitors are invited to the Doris McCarthy Gallery to view the exhibition, and for an artist talk by Duorama at 4:15 pm.
A free shuttle bus will run between the DMG and Guild Park – visitors may join the shuttle bus at ei
ther location (there is free parking available at Guild Park). See the full schedule below. Space on the bus is limited, first come, first served.
The walk at Guild Park will go forward rain or shine -- participants should meet at the Gazebo parking lot, at the east side of the Guild Inn Estate. Please wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather. No registration is necessary.
SHUTTLE SCHEDULE
1:30 pm -- Pick up at U of T Scarborough (Scarborough Circle, pick up/drop off loop), depart to Guild Park
3:45 pm -- Pick up at Guild Park, depart to U of T Scarborough (DMG)
5 pm -- Pick up at U of T Scarborough, depart to Guild Park
