Spring Shoreline Clean-Up at Guild Park

Friends of Guild Park & Gardens is proud to be part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup presented by Loblaw Companies Limited. We invite our members and supporters to help collect debris and garbage from the lakeshore area below Guild Park.

The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is one of the largest direct action conservation programs in Canada. A joint conservation initiative of the Vancouver Aquarium and WWF, the Shoreline Cleanup is about removing shoreline litter to help create healthy waters for everyone, including the wildlife and communities that depend on them.

All volunteers should meet at the east parking lot, south of Galloway Road at 9:00 am.  All participants under the age of 19 must have the waiver form signed by a parent/guardian. Waivers will be available on location.

Be sure to dress for being outside (layers), wear sturdy footwear and bring gloves if you have them!
