Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Guild Park and Gardens

In 2013 Friends of Guild Park & Gardens revived this annual tradition which had started the Holiday Season at the Guild Inn for years.  Each year is better than the last and everyone is welcome to join the merriment. Carols are sung, hot chocolate is served, stockings and hand-made decorations are hung. We even have a special visit from Santa.  The lights shine in the darkness and have been a beacon of hope for the future of Guild Park.  In December 2017 over 300 friends joined our celebration on the beautiful Guild Inn Estates Gazebo.  The original tree did not survive construction but the City of Toronto provided a temporary tree this past year and a new tree has been planted so we hope to see this tradition continue for many years to come.
